Hi friends,

A little about me!  I’m a mom, a grandma, a believer in Jesus Christ and a lover of all things creative.  I’ve been on Instagram since May of 2012 and my first post was a classic toe in the sand picture.  Until recently, my only motivation for posting on Facebook and Instagram was to share my life with family and close friends.

I attended a conference where a couple shared about their cooking blog and Instagram accounts and how in addition to sharing their love for cooking, they also took the opportunity to share light and truth.  While listening to this talk, my Heavenly Father spoke to me in a straightforward and sure way. He told me this was something I needed to do!  I needed to be more intentional with what I posted and talked about.  I’ve had a passion for photography most of my life.  I am a faithful person, and I decided I needed to combine these loves.  I started sharing daily on Instagram and Facebook.  I posted pictures I had taken and tried to add something uplifting or positive.

This website is a continuation of the inspiration to share light and truth, along with my love of design and photography.   Heavenly Father has blessed me with inspiration and a unique voice to share these things.  One of my favorite quotes is from Dr. Seuss. It says, “Today you are you, that is truer than true.  There is no one alive that is more you-er than you!”  I am a unique, spunky, faithful, creative wife, mother, and grandmother. My Heavenly Father wants me to let my light shine!  I’m far from perfect and a little nervous to put myself out there, however, when God asks me to do something, I’m quick to respond.  So, here is my blog/website that will be about my photography, design,  my family and faith! Enjoy!

My Family

I’ve been married for 34 years to Reed, who is an adventurous, funny, a get things done kind of guy.

I have five amazing daughters who have been the center of my life.  My youngest left for college a year ago and that has been a little bit of the catalyst for starting this website.  Most of my posts and photography will have a lot to do with my family.  Also, one of the best parts of my life right now is being a grandma.  Check out this little post here.
